Privacy policy

This English version is provided for convenience. The French version of this page is the reference.

1. Data controller

2. Data collected

Only when you fill in a download or subscription form:

  • your email address (required) and your first name (optional);
  • the product requested, the date of the request, of the confirmation and of each download;
  • the language of the page from which you submitted the form;
  • your consent choices (“news” box), with the version of the text displayed and the date;
  • a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address (hash) and the browser type during a download, used for security and abuse prevention.

The site does not set any analytics or advertising cookies. The administration area uses a technical cookie reserved for the administrator.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Sending the download link and confirming your address: performance of your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Security (abuse limitation, download log): legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Sending news (new plug-ins, sounds and tracks) from ERO DSP and its partner label In Future Records: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the dedicated box, which is optional and unticked by default. The download never depends on this box.

4. Recipients

  • ERO DSP.
  • In Future Records, partner label — [company name, address, contact]: receives your email address and first name only if you ticked the “news” box and confirmed your address, in order to inform you of its music releases.
  • Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd, [address to be checked]), host of the site and database, acting as processor. If the Hostinger Reach emailing tool is used to send news, it processes consenting contacts on behalf of ERO DSP.
  • Videos (home page and some product pages): the thumbnails are hosted on this site; a YouTube video is only loaded, via the youtube-nocookie.com domain, if you click “Play”. Google then processes data under its own policy. The link to the YouTube channel simply opens youtube.com.

5. Retention periods

  • Unconfirmed request: [30 days], then deletion.
  • Download data: [3 years] from the last download.
  • Consent to news: until you unsubscribe, then [3 years] as proof of consent and withdrawal.
  • Download links: valid for 48 hours and 3 uses.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time (unsubscribe link in every email). To exercise them: contact@ero-dsp.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

7. Security

Data is stored on the site’s hosting, outside the public area. Download links are personal, signed and time-limited. IP addresses are not stored in clear text.

8. Changes
